Where We Depart
Beamers Hells Canyon Tours is located in Clarkston, WA. All scenic jet boat tours depart directly behind the Holiday Inn 700 Port Drive Clarkston, WA. Arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to your departure time for boarding.
Fishing charters depart from our Heller Bar Lodge.
What To Bring
Tour experience is casual. Wearing comfortable clothing such as: jeans, tennis shoes, shorts and swimsuits in warm weather. Also bring a light jacket for morning departures, evening returns and overnight stays.
The sun is bright in the canyon. We suggest sunscreen, sun glasses and / or a hat.
For overnights, add only personal toiletries and change of clothes. Soft luggage is requested.
All tours are accessible to physically challenged individuals. However there is no dock at Historic Kirkwood Ranch maintained by US Forest Service, guests must disembark with assistance down a few steps from the bow of our tour boats.
Making Reservations
You may occasionally be able to join a tour on short notice, space is limited. We urge you to make advance reservations on our secure online reservation system.
Cancellation Policy: 100% refundable minus a 10% booking fee with at least 7 days notice prior to departure date. Cancellations received less than 7 days prior to your departure date will receive a credit towards a future date minus a 10% booking fee. Groups of 20 or more must give a 60 day notice in order to receive 100% refund minus a 10% booking fee.
Gift Certificates and discounted vouchers are non-refundable. Discounted 2-4-1 vouchers are limited to 5 per day and must be used for the year they were purchased for to receive the promotional value.
Minimum passenger requirements must be met in order for your tour to depart. Should they not be met we will reach out to you to discuss your options.
No-shows will be charged the full price and forfeit their credit. In addition a reschedule fee of $25.00 per person will apply and $50.00 per person for overnight tours.
Discounted children rate is available to full paying passengers. However discounted children rates can not be combined with any discount vouchers or specials.
All balances are due prior to your departure date. Payments can be paid at our business office, 1345 Port Drive Clarkston, WA. You may go directly to our tour departure dock by paying your balance over the phone, or on the website with your credit card. If you have questions, call us at 509-758-4800.
Fares
All fares are quoted per person in U.S. dollars. Base rate does not include Washington State sales Tax 8.3%, US Forest Service Use Fee 3% and credit card processing fee 6%.
Seasonal tours run spring through fall. US Mail Tour operates year round on Wednesday’s. Group Tours and packages available year-round – Ask us!
Special Considerations
Tour boats have on board restroom facilities. However stops are approximately every hour and a half at our lodges with restroom facilities as well.
Our boats are covered and can be completely enclosed with over-sized see-through windows, so weather is seldom a problem. However please keep in mind:
- If weather conditions or unfavorable water conditions prevent the boat from leaving the marina, guests may reschedule their tour or receive a gift certificate to come back at another time that is convenient for them.
- Guests who have an unexpected change in their itinerary should call immediately to avoid difficulties in rescheduling their tours.
- Prices may change without notice. Therefore making advance reservations and deposits guarantee fare at the time the booking.
- We are not responsible for unseen circumstances which can result in late departures and return times. All times are approximate and are quoted as Pacific Standard or Pacific Daylight Savings time.
Beamers Hells Canyon Tours is operated under special use permit with the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest and is an equal opportunity provider.
